The city that never sleeps

Now a number of cities have a common phrase that represents that particular city. The one I can remember are “the city that never sleeps” (NYC) The windy city (Chitown) etc. Well I thing that Athens should get the application of “the city that lives between the hours or 2 am and 6 am” May be 4 am(thens). The city is busy all the time but I am always blown away by the number of shops, restaurants, and people up between those hours including me. Now the most interesting part in at places in the states when you are up that late / early it usually consists of a certain age group. Most people who are night owls in the states out at bars and such are not in there 50’s -80’s.  But not here in Athens. People of all ages are up that late.
